No

For the last year, I have been planning and preparing for a month long missions trip with a friend to Ethiopia. I have realized that, even though we make our plans, God’s “will” will always prevail – especially if we are aligning our hearts with His purposes. We can always take great hope in that! Recently I felt like God was saying NO, or at least giving me the option to say no. That was a hard answer/outcome to accept! Especially since I have been planning this for so long and have been so excited. Sometimes ‘no’ is a mandatory option, where the opportunistic doors are completely shut. . . sometimes ‘no’ is a choice. I chose ‘no’ and I trust in His plans for my life: “We may throw the dice, but the Lord determines how they fall.” Proverbs 16:33
