“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31
What does it mean to put my hope in the Lord? It means that I will believe in Him, desire Him, and have complete and full confidence in all the mighty things He can do. This hope has anchored my soul (Hebrews 6:19) to the confidence in Jesus’ everlasting love and in the promise of eternity through His resurrection power! This world may make me weary and weak, but it is quickly fading. My hope is not anchored to its deteriorating surface! Rather, I am being refreshed daily by the strength of my God! This strength is renewed through my confidence in His sure and steadfast hope.
